VVVIN is a Japanese-style fashion store located on the second floor of the building, featuring a café on the ground floor. Customers come here to enjoy the shopping, café, and bar experience all at the same time. It affords an exciting new and unique lifestyle opportunity in Sheung Wan.

Yannie, the founder of VVVIN, viewed the neighbourhood as the perfect location for her new flagship store. The fresh setting became the perfect opportunity to enhance and expand on her original concept of a Japanese-themed fashion store – thus the idea of a Japanese-style café-bar-cum-boutique was born.

The concept drew on the unique character of Tokyo’s cafés, which are heavily influenced by integrating minimal design style into local culture. Coffee culture is evolving from being just a drink into a bigger story, namely: connecting the community. The café has become the neighbourhood nexus, connecting people who share and enjoy the same lifestyle.

The set back of the shop front was foundational to our vision of enabling people to build their communities at the district level. People can walk by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and may spot friends or neighbours hanging out over a cup of black coffee and strike up a pleasant conversation about and nothing, generating a relaxed feeling, sharing and caring and most importantly creating happiness. That’s our vision and mission.
